Online Vintage Finds

Some Saturday surfing pre-Ole Miss game turned up these fun pieces from Vintagevixen and Posh Girl Vintage. It's beautiful outside so these floaty dresses are appealing to me today in spite of it being nearly October! Posh Girl is an amazingly gorgeous site, btw. Most of it is quite expensive, but they do put things on sale. We love.

Random Sweaters

I was sourcing an NBCDFW.com story about cold weather clothes that are cute. That's phrase isn't exactly an oxymoron, but it can be since tons and tons of layers aren't so flattering in general. Found the sweater sale at Vicky's Secret; loved these The Row-esque styles. Yay for there finally being a chill in the Dallas air!
And PS: click here to have a Happy Howl-O-Ween, because dogs in costumes are never not funny and awwwww-inducing.
Oh, and one more thing - just so you don't think that VS has lost the, um, edge we've come to expect from them - behold the most pointless sweater ever here.

Madewell On Sale

The fall sale has kicked-off at Madewell.com, yay. See above some of the things I liked. They're still almost too pricey for our budget, even on sale, but since they're under $100, we'll allow it. The white vest is my fav, very YSL. And even though I didn't inclde them in the slide, there are some great jeans - skinnys and bootcut - included in the sale too.

Dior At Goodwill

If you haven't visited shopgoodwill.com yet, you should. Today I found a ton of cool Dior stuff; see the pics above.  Isn't the robe soooo Joan Collins?! When you go to the site, click on the search button and type in Dior to see these items. But I highly suggest you look around while you're there too. Hilariously cheap prices. You can thank me later:) Oh, also, it's a bidding situation and most last no more than 7 days, so act now. Not to worry though, the prices rarely too much above where they start:)

A BASIC AND SOME BOOTS

I'm needing a new, super-long cardi thing; mine like this is ragged out at this point. Just happened to see these boots about the same time; perfect with this soooofffffftttttt sweater, some skinnys, something in a floral pattern, and quirky accessories like the random handbag pictured. The neat lizard bag is on shelves now at Bess and Evie's Vintage in Fort Worth for $55, and the sweater and boots are available on Piperlime.com. Prices are on the slide. Thanks to PL for always helping me spend my practically nonexistent paychecks.

WELCOME WAGON'S HERE

Hooray, another fashion blog. Just what the world needs. Nevertheless, here it is. It took me about 4 hours to figure out the blogspot editing stuff, so I'm over it at present. Thus, this will be short . . .

Go buy this bag. It's cool. It's a good shade of grey. It's $18. It's Max Azria for Walmart. I'm ignoring the fact that the online title indicates that somehow Miley Cyrus is involved in it's design. Although I appreciate her music (see my profile, I love horrible pop music for reals) but not so much her style. Oh well. Still into the bag no matter what.
